Sometimes any of us may feel unable to deal with life’s challenges and fear we won’t make it through. It seems our depression will never life, the combative relationship will never stop and the pain will never get better.

Max has answers to help us confront our difficulties in his study of Joseph’s story in Genesis. For anyone in the midst of turbulent times, Max reminds us that God doesn’t promise that getting through trials will be quick or painless. It wasn’t for Joseph – tossed into a pit by his brothers, sold into slavery, wrongfully imprisoned, forgotten and dismissed – but his Old Testament story is in the Bible as a reminder to trust God to triumph over hardships. Max reminds us that God can resolve and redeem hardships in creative ways beyond our understanding. God, after all, has plan for good, not harm!!!
