Dear Lakeview Congregation,
Today we received your THREE wonderful checks. They came just at the right time to help us make this week’s payroll. Your generosity from the Mission & Outreach Committee; the United Methodist Men’s Group, and the United Methodist Women really saved the day for us. We are so very grateful to have friends like you. I am looking forward to coming to TNT on October 10 to share with you what is happening at the Justa Center. Without support from kind people like you, we will have to close our doors.
Most Gratefully Yours,
Wendy Johnson, Executive Director, Justa Center
Seniors deserve a place to call home.
To Lakeview Church,
I wish to thank the many Lakeview members who sent me get well, praying for you or thinking of you cards. The cards came at a time when I felt and sometimes even now feel God is punishing me by keeping me alive and not letting me die. I am 97 years old and everyone tells me I will reach 100 – but I say “Oh God! I hope not.”
Thank you also for putting my picture on You Tube. My cousin, Marsha Minniss watches the morning service every morning on You Tube. She said “It was quite a surprise to see your picture and your dog’s picture on the tv screen. Please keep praying for me.
Isabell Eakin, my dog “Candy” and the cat “Lucky”
Just a note of appreciation for the cards and inspirational booklet sent us by some of the church members. Because John and I are no longer able to attend services, it is especially nice to be remembered. May our Lord continue to bless the ministry of Lakeview United Methodist Church as well as its members.
Sincerely, Arlys F. Gould-Ferris
It is hard to express how grateful I am to have such a caring, loving church family. These past months you have showered us with your love thru cards, phone calls, gifts and visits. Our eight o’clock family has especially gone out of their way to drive me places and help me with food gifts and just support. I am so grateful for all you have done and are continuing to do as I recover. God has blessed Dean and I.
Thank you so much. Joyce Hutchins
We want to say “Thank You” to our Lakeview Church family for ALL the prayers and concerns for Tom the past several years. It has been a privilege to worship in such a caring church.
Thank you. Tom & Carol McLaughlin
The caring and generous Lakeview family has, once again, made the school year a little brighter for the West Valley View students from El Mirage Elementary School. Approximately 60 back packs and a generous amount of school supplies were donated as well. Jesse Ramirez was very pleased and the Mission Committee appreciates and thanks you for your contributions.
