anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.” ~ Carl Bard

Sunday, Sundae, Serve

March 15

Some of our friends who are not into church think that what we do is sing a droning song or two and hear a boring sermon. Hopefully our singing and sermons are neither!

Who do you know who doesn’t have a church home? Perhaps it’s that new fellow who just moved here from Iowa or maybe the nice couple from Michigan who just bought the condo down the way. It might be that friendly clerk at the store you met recently or someone who provided a service at your house or apartment.

Sunday, March 15th is a great day to invite a friend to worship. We’ll have some fun, uplifting music and some ice cream after worship (yup, all three services) – what better way than ice cream to say “fun”?

We’re also making it a serving day by bringing extra non-perishable food for the Valley View Food Bank. Let’s fill the church and fill a truck as we show what Christ has done and is doing through his people and we’ll help ease hunger.

Bring a friend, have a Sundae, serve by welcoming and bringing food, and we’ll give God the glory!
