God is speaking to you through music and word, are you hearing him?
Through sharing some of our favorite hymns and the background on some of them, we can gain insight, refocus our hearing on the words, and in the process, open ourselves to hearing from God. Sometimes it is simply a tune which brings peace or presence and sometimes it is a word or phrase that touches a sensitive spot in our soul. God wants to give you more of himself and hear from you and it is through singing hymns and the music that we glorify God and offer our challenges, thanksgivings, and gratitude to him. For me, it is also a time in which my heart is alerted and ready to hear from God.
