Isaiah 6:1-8

We have earthly protectors that serve our country and other countries well in the armed services. We should certainly honor those who have given their lives to protect us and our freedom. However, we have heavenly protectors as well that have the earth to guard against evil and promote goodness, justice and love throughout the world in the form of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

This passage in Isaiah forms the foundation for us teaming up with the Holy Trinity; Father, Son and Holy Spirit to be the real defenders and protectors of our world.  He is in the presence of the Trinity in the Temple and feels unworthy.  However, God purifies him and then ask “Who will go for us?”  Isaiah now is able to say, “Hear I am Lord, send me!”  Today, all of us are invited to join the team of the “Real Guardian of the Galaxy” in bringing goodness, justice and love to the world!
