Luke 21:25-28

Christ has come! Christ will come again! We are in the between times, a time of hope with much to do!

Advent is a season of waiting and of preparing our spirits in hope and anticipation of Christ’s second coming reflecting our rejoicing in his birth. In Scripture, the Old Testament prophecies led the children of Israel to await the birth of a Messiah sent to save them, and the New Testament directs followers of the Messiah to prepare for the second coming of Christ, the return of the Messiah who would end the world as we know it. Christ’s return will tum it into a place of peace and harmony under the authority of God’s power.
