Today’s scripture: Mark 11:7-10, 14: 32-34, 44-46, 61b-64, 5:12-13, 22-24, 33-34, 37-39
Our lives are full of ups and downs, joy and pain, anticipation and disappointment. Grief is the price that you pay for loving someone when they are gone. Many great people have gone through multiple failures and frustrations before they achieved victory and success. Jesus achieved great popularity and triumph before He was crucified. Many of his followers were persecuted and killed for clinging to their faith in Him. During our journey through lent to Easter we are challenged to consider what changes in our daily routine would show that we are followers of Jesus too! What actions are you willing to take to follow Jesus more closely? He wants to be closer to you!
