Psalm 96:3, Mark 16:15, John 15:16, Romans 1:16-17
Hearing the experience of those on short-term or long-term missions whose lives have been dramatically changes and shaped in new ways can help us grow closer to God and in turn, we become more missional. It’s been said that missions isn’t the primary purpose of Christians; worship is but because worship is lacking we need missions. Going or helping someone on mission will change you if you allow God to work. Secondly, experiencing God in other parts of the world can be radically different, even strange to us westerners but it is the same God through the power of the Holy Spirit and under the banner of Jesus Christ.
