“For This Reason” – Pastor John Fairchild
A Prayer for the Ephesians
Ephesians 3:14-21
In our struggles of life, no matter where or what is happening, we have not been asked to be “successful” by human standards but to persevere. With our spiritual vision, we can look and declare “What a view!” of God’s work.
Paul invites us to step away from the mire of our struggles to see how majestic and wonderful God is. God never asks us to be successful by the world’s standards but rather to seek God in all we do and push on to be the best we can with the gifts and graces God has equipped us with. God never judges us by the world’s standards either, so we need to re-orient to God’s grace in order to understand God’s expectations.
