Acts 16:16-21

When God disrupts our lives, it’s always to our benefit if we cooperate even if it becomes difficult to celebrate in the midst of adversity.

Not everything that happens to us is because of God’s actions; we live in a fallen world where we are impacted by others and the world around us. Yet, in the middle of those worldly disruptions, we have choices how we will respond and that’s when God may ‘disrupt’ our human thinking and replace it with divine thinking. When the earthquake came while Paul was in prison, because he didn’t run away, he was able to bring the jailer and others to a saving knowledge of Jesus. Would you run or stay?
