New Bible Study Class

LydiaWoodsDr. Lydia A. Woods, will be teaching a NEW Bible Study class beginning, Friday, January 7, 2022 in Fellowship Hall. Class will meet immediately after her Fitness/Fall Prevention class., starting from 10:15-11:15 am.

The Class focus will be on the Book of Genesis “In the Beginning, God created heaven and Earth” All lessons will beprinted and provided for each student from the King James Version of the Bible and will be in large print and supported by chain references. This class is also currently being taught Off-Campus at the Woodmark Senior Living Community every Saturday morning, from 9:00-10:15 am. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Dr. Woods has been teaching this Off-Campus Bible study class held at Evelyn Forehand’s home for the past 6 years but due to Covid 19 the class has been suspended for the last two years. Previous studies included the Study of Luke, the Jewish Tabernacle, the Life of Jesus and the book of Revelations.

Woods is a gifted teacher, bible scholar, ordained minister, retired college professor and author of 12 Books of Christian Poetry. Of all her gifts and skills teaching the Bible has been her passion for the last 30 years. In 2012 she earned a dual-degree, Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Christian Education from Gammon Seminary at the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) located in Atlanta, GA and completed a Chaplain Internship at Emory Hospital in 2013.
