Thanksgiving is around the corner and our neighbors are going to need MORE help than in the past. Please watch for bargains on the following items and buy what you can in quantity to help support the Valley View Foodbank.
Needed Items are;
- Bags and Boxes of Turkey Stuffing
- Cans of Cranberry
- Cans of Sweet Potatoes
- Cans of Green Beans
- Cans of Mushroom Soup
- Jello Mixes
- Brownie Mixes

Wild Horse West Restaurant Outing was Delicious!
Nearly two dozen members from Lakeview UMC had a most delicious hamburger dinner at the Wild Horse West Restaurant.
It is known for its’ awesome burgers that are coo
ked to taste and they have great chili dogs too. The bus driver, Tim Kenny did an outstanding job on ferrying out a dozen members of the church to enjoy their burgers and dogs.
Other members carpooled out together to the restaurant.

October 5, 2021 please join the Mission and Outreach Committee in thanking everyone for all their donations to Valley View Food Bank and JUSTA Center.
Come to Smoot Hall at 2:30 p.m. for departure by bus and carpool to the “Road Runner Restaurant” in New River, AZ.
Sign up below or in Smoot Hall by Sunday, October 3, 2021. PLEASE include your phone number on the sign-up sheet and only sign up if you intend on joining us. IF after signing up you can’t attend, please call the church office so we don’t wait on you before leaving.
School Supplies Blessed and Delivered
Sunday, August 15, 2021 Pastor Dave Summers blessed ALL of the school supplies and backpacks that have been donated by our congregation for Valley View Food Bank.
The students, mostly in the El Mirage School District, benefit from our donations. The kids need our help, as their parents cannot afford to purchase all of the items that are needed for school today.
On Monday, August 16, 2021 our church bus took the school supply donations to the Valley View Food Bank for distribution.
Thank You to all in the Lakeview Family that helped to make this such a successful school supply drive.
