The Mission and Outreach Committee is having a fundraising dinner to raise funds for help for Ukraine and our local mission efforts. It will be a pasta dinner on Saturday, October 8th at 5:00 p.m.
The menu will be baked pasta, salad, garlic bread, and dessert.
For entertainment, we will have our own Lakeview version of the Newlywed Game called the Oldy Weds. Some of our Lakeview couples who have been wed for a long time will compete for prizes. Jeff Nelson will be Master of Ceremonies for the competition. We’ll see what these “oldy” wed couples know about each other.
There will also be a silent auction with crafts, gift certificates, etc. If you would like to donate anything for the auction, please see Susan Briner or Lynda Johnson
Profits will be split 50/50 between United Methodist relief efforts for Ukraine and our own local missions, such as the Food Bank, I-Help and Justa Center.
