Today’s scripture: Galatians 2:20
What does it mean to be “crucified with Christ” and still be alive? We still have to eat and sleep and work and go about our routine, but our purpose for being alive spiritually is different. We are to be doing what Jesus directs us to do through the Bible, prayer, worship, helping others in need, and being active in His church. Our attitudes, thoughts, and actions are all guided by the Spirit of God and we see our lives in a whole new way! We are set free from the daily grind, and we begin a new adventure with Jesus to share His love and avoid selfishness. We receive “I” surgery and we get a transplant of God’s heart into us and new eyes to see the world and ourselves as Jesus does!
“As a follower of Jesus, we must be willing to give up anything that interferes with God’s will in my life.
Living by faith is hard because we think that we must understand what to expect when obeying God.
Faith is trusting God to provide what we need when we need it to accomplish what He commands.
We know that we can trust Jesus because He loves us and proved it on the cross.”
