Finance Report
As you can see from the Financial Report Summary below for March, our church is about $11,000 behind year-to-date, as compared to February where Lakeview was $10,000 behind year-to-date.
This is good news because the giving in March increased overall which helped Lakeview to stop the decline from the previous two months. I know we did go into the hole another $1,000 but I am praying that giving will continue to be strong and Lakeview will continue eating away the negative amount and start turning it positive. The various departments are trying their best to hold the line and expenses for March were $4,000 less than the expected budgeted amount.
I asked the Finance Committee members to pray for God’s help to have just a little more given each week and I am asking the congregation to also pray for God’s help to turn around our current negative position and make it positive. The good news is that we have a Risen Savior who loves us and wants the best for us so that we can fulfill the Great Commission of spreading the Good News to as many people as we can about Jesus Christ. We continue to reach more people through the on-line televised Sunday morning services which also helps spread God’s message far and wide. So continue to pray for God’s guidance and give what is in your heart to give. God’s Blessings to All.
