Dear Lakeview Friends in Faith,

First, I want to thank you for your giving to the church, which helps us to live out our mission as a congregation:  Changing Lives: caring for mind, body and soul. Your gifts help us to do life-changing ministry like I-HELP (Interfaith Homeless Emergency Lodging Program). Every Friday night up to twelve homeless guests stay in our Fellowship Hall and are fed, have a mat and space in which to sleep safely and receive case management services to help them out of homelessness. Recently, two of our guests “graduated” from the I-HELP ministry and are moving into their own apartments and housing. Your giving helps provide a facility that enables people to get back on their feet!

Second, I share the joy that we have had 33 new members join our church so far this year.  We are attracting new people to our vital and welcoming congregation here at Lakeview. Kim and I are very excited to begin our second year here at Lakeview UMC.  We enjoy so much the care and friendliness of our church. Please know how much you are a blessing in our lives.
