Heifer Update
Have you noticed the beautiful smiles from the recipients of Heifer animals? Now, just close your eyes and visualize what will happen when our August 2019 Heifer donations arrive. To some, they may arrive just in time to save a life.
Here is the list of our August donations:
- 2 Flocks of Chicks
- 2 Flocks of Ducks,
- 4 Honeybee Hives
- 4 Trios of Rabbits,
- 2 Goats
Now, that will bring tears of joy to many.
It has to me. Meat, milk, honey, eggs and more to help lift some more of God’s precious children out of hunger and poverty.
The Lakeview United Methodist Men will continue the present “Gift Ark” campaign through October. Please utilize the Heifer Banks and donation envelopes to support this wonderful charity. Turn your bank and donations in during the campaign in which you want to participate. The banks are generic and have no expiration date, and they are always available. “Thank You” so much from the LUMM. God Bless You.
