Heifer Report for Feb. 9th

Quote for today – “It’s not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving”.   Mother Teresa

Heifer_023 Approval was given at the meeting of the LUMM on Feb. 2 for the donation of the following:  2 – Hope Baskets (includes chickens and rabbits) and 1 – Flock of Chicks.

Three more families of God’s children can rise out of poverty and hunger.  After Heifer International’s estimate of 9 times the impact – make that 27 families.  How significant is that?  Remember what Jesus said in Matthew 25:40;Heifer_010

“I can guarantee this truth, whatever you did for one of my brothers or sisters, no matter how unimportant they seemed, you did for me.”

   Isn’t that heartwarming?

With the close proximity of the Men’s Pancake Breakfast next month, we will not have a LUMM meeting.  Your donations to the Heifer Project will be held over to the April 6th meeting.  The LUMM are asking your help to make it a record breaking month (s).

Thanking you in advance for your donations.
