Exercise Classes are Starting on May 3rd


The “Faith Exercise” classes are resuming on May 3rd at 9:00am.

We will meet in Smoot Hall and will be socially distant and masked as we exercise together.

Dr. Lydia Woods will lead the class on Mondays and Wednesdays, and Dr. Priscilla Woodley will be on Fridays.

The Monday and Wednesday classes focus on exercising at a target heart rate using seated and standing exercises.

The Friday classes focus on flexibility and balance and include elements from Tai Chi, Qui Dong, Yoga, Dance and other exercise traditions. On Friday we also sing and pick your animal for “Old McDonald Had a Farm”: and review the words for “Mary Had a Little Lamb.” and sometimes we have our wonderful DJ Robert Wilson playing a great selection of music as we move.

All are welcome. If possible, bring an exercise band (can be purchased at CVS), a small ball you can squeeze (get these at CVS or many other places), and weights (1 lb is recommended and you may need to order them from Amazon).
