In-Person worship and classes policies and procedures
The safety of our Lakeview family is of highest importance and if you have been sick or in contact with someone sick, we respectfully require that you continue to worship with us online.
Yes! Our Campus is open and has an 8 and 9:30 am Worship Service, in addition to several weekly classes.
Masks are no longer mandatory for entrance to the buildings. Of course, if you are more comfortable and feel safer, or have not yet been vaccinated, please continue to wear one.
You need not “social distance” but we do recommend minimal hugging or physical contact at this point.
The barriers between pews in the sanctuary will be removed except for the south quarter seating allowing for distancing for anyone who wishes to take advantage of that option.
We ask that you utilize the hand sanitizing stations at all entrances upon entering for worship or classes.
While we greatly desire to worship together with each of you, the safety of our entire Lakeview family is of paramount importance. We also wish to respect the desires of each individual and family in choosing whether to join us in person or remain worshiping online.
If you or someone in your family has had a fever, cough, traveled, or been asked to quarantine by a medical or government official in the last 14 days, we appreciate your willingness to stay home and help protect others.
Please arrive no earlier than 30 minutes prior to each service when the doors open.
Please use the hand sanitizers when you enter the building.
We won’t be using bulletins (but you’re used to that now!) but there will be a Worship Outline available on the website before Sunday morning if you wish to print one out.
Ushers will continue to hand out communion supplies, announcements, and attendance slips when you enter.
Be ready to worship and attentive to God’s word for you!
At this time, we are not requiring registration for our worship services!
As much as we would like to give hugs and shake hands, we do recommend minimal physical contact at this point, when arriving and departing all events.
We will observe communion each week and will have individually, pre-packaged elements for those participating.
We have added giving plates by all exits for you to drop off your offering along with your attendance slip as you exit the service. We also have available the online giving and attendance options, so we will not be passing the offering plates attendance books (red books) during the service.
We will have a fellowship “Coffee Hour” in Smoot Hall immediately following the 9:30am worship service, this will not be a self-serve event. We ask that you maintain proper social distancing.
Our campus is constantly being cleaned regularly.
Hand sanitizers can be found in strategic locations throughout our campus and can be used by everyone at any time.
Please remember to frequently wash your hands, and if you or anyone in your family is not feeling well, please stay home.
