Have a Wonderful and Blessed Week!

Romans 4:3-5, 5:1-2 New Revised Standard Version

3 For what does the scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.”

4 Now to one who works, wages are not reckoned as a gift but as something due.

5 But to one who without works trusts him who justifies the ungodly, such faith is reckoned as righteousness.

1 Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

2 through whom we have obtained access to this grace in which we stand, and we boast in our hope of sharing the glory of God.

After years of spiritual searching & trying to serve as a missionary (in which he failed), John said, “My chief motive to which all the rest are subordinate, is hope of saving my own soul…”  John attended a small group of faithful Christians & felt his “heart strangely warmed. I felt that I did trust in Christ & Christ alone for my salvation & an assurance was given to me that he had taken away my sins, even mine.” He felt he met God personally for the first time. He met the life-changing power of God & experienced conversion.
