Lakeview
Mission
The love and
expectance one feels during an initial visit to Lakeview is
awe-inspiring. When we share God's love with people, we are
participating in ministry that has an eternal significance. Helen Keller
stated, "The best and most beautiful things in life cannot be seen
or even touched...they must be felt with the heart." God has
granted us with many wonderful opportunities, in which we can convey
God's love to people.
By partaking of the worship service -- through the audio tapes or by
physical attendance -- we are empowered and inspired by the Spirit of
Christ to support our church through our prayers and opportunities of
service and membership.
Our Vision:

-to disciple believers through fellowship groups
-to relieve suffering
Our Mission
at Lakeview UMC is to change lives in a positive direction:
-by
worshiping God in spirit and in truth
-by growing in the image of God
-by caring for one another in Christian love
-by sharing the good news of what God has done in Christ
-by following His example of humble service to all people
Lakeview United Methodist Church has been planned and built by the hands
and gifts of devoted church members in the past. Many have passed on and
many still remain. To you who come as members now and in the future we
pass the torch of love and concern that will continue to uphold the
light of the gospel of Jesus Christ in this Holy Place.
